[Tradeban] Pacat Information Stall

On Sunday we held an information stall at Canning Vale markets.  A big
thanks to the volunteers:
Trish & Rob, Amy & Kim, Angela, Lyn and Michael.  
Collected well over 300 signatures for the petition and spoke to many people
about the issues, even had an Arab gent who tried to assure me that the
animals were not treated badly and were slaughtered very 'quickly and
cleanly'.  He was very sincere and surprised that we were concerned.  I sent
him away with leaflets and the 'plea for mercy' dvd.  He said he would look
at these and if what I said was true, he would speak to people about it. 
Not sure who he's going to speak to but I was really heartened by his
genuine concern.

If anyone out there knows of a good venue for a stall, please let Pacat know
