A former police officer is using her forensic skill to expose the dark side
of Australia's live export trade - the horrific abattoirs at journey's end.

Lyn White saw some horrible things during her 20 years as a police officer.
"Murder, rape, suicide," she reels off matter-of-factly. "Lots of domestic
violence, obviously. Everything imaginable." Still, she managed to sleep
well at night. It wasn't until January 9, 2006 - years after she left the
police force - that she saw a level of depravity that almost destroyed her
faith in humanity. On that day, she entered the gates of her own personal
hell on Earth. Its name was Bassatin.
