Hi,

 I am totally against live animal transport but can't understand why these
countries such as Egypt etc say that the animal has to be killed in Halal
method. The reason being that the animal must not have SUFFERED before
slaughtered eg. stunned. Why then is any animal considered Halal meat
considering all the SUFFERING the animal experiences on the trip across,
when unloaded at the slaughterhouse and when being slaughtered. I just don't
get it!!! Have they ever been asked why they excuse all that SUFFERING???
