Did you watch the 7:30 Report on ABC last night (Thursday 11th November)? It put to air a story based on Lyn White's 
latest investigation in which she documents  the treatment of Australian animals exported to the Middle East and reports on whether the live export industry is telling the truth with its claims of 'improvements' in the region.  A must see for all of us who are committed to putting an end to the cruel and unnecessary export of live animals. PACAT had a phone call this morning from a viewer so outraged that he immediately rang the RSPCA, The Federal Police the Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry and the High Court to insist that the Minister Peter McGauran be charged with extreme cruelty. The Federal Police informed him that they could not do anything because  there is no law under which he can be prosecuted. Well, let us all ring the Federal Police on 02 6223300O and complain formally about Mr McGauran dismissive attitude (clearly in evidence from last night's report on the ABC) towards the cruel fate of the millions of live animals that are exported from Australia every year.
